1. Scope
BFS Digital operates digital directory and recruitment services. Healthcare providers remain responsible for clinical safeguarding and patient protection within their own services.
2. Platform responsibilities
- Do not knowingly facilitate abuse, exploitation or trafficking.
- Remove or restrict unsafe content where appropriate.
- Provide a reporting route.
- Escalate credible serious-risk concerns where appropriate.
- Apply additional controls where a future feature creates material risks for children or vulnerable people.
3. Provider responsibility
Providers remain responsible for their own safeguarding arrangements, DBS requirements, clinical safeguarding, staff supervision, patient protection and regulatory duties.
4. Recruitment responsibility
Employers and recruiters remain responsible for lawful recruitment, right-to-work checks, professional checks, safeguarding and employment obligations.
5. Reporting
Safeguarding concerns may be reported to info@bfsdigital.co.uk. Serious emergencies should be reported to the appropriate emergency or safeguarding authority.
